Background
Robert Simpson is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is Managing Partner of the firm. Robert leads the Bristol office and is passionate in supporting owner-managed businesses and individuals with a variety of tax and accounting solutions.
After training as an Accountant in 2006 and having spent over 10 years in accounting firms, Robert incorporated Avonmead in 2017 with a view to build a reputable, national firm which focuses on utilising technology and innovative thinking to deliver a service we can be proud of.

Robert specialises in supporting small businesses, particularly those who value proactive and strategic advice to support them with growth, tax-planning and core accounting services.
Robert has a keen eye for automation and utilising technology to improve the accounting functions and management reporting processes for a business - to ensure that business owners can use this data to grow and improve performance.
Hobbies & Interests
- Currently training for his first ever marathon
- A keen, although not very talented cricket player
- Robert has recently replaced the football field (due to his maturing years!) for the more ‘tranquil’ setting of a golf course
